Trueno (Thunder in spanish) is a son of Accoyo McGwire and grandson to Accoyo Victor. Trueno has the fleece qualities and genetics to carry him to the top. He has an incredibly bright fleece that absolutely glows. His crimp, individual bundling, and staple length complete this package. Comments on his fleece have included, "very uniform & consistant with strengths in all areas." On scale of 1-10, he was rated an 8 for brightness, density & uniformity of crimp style.
Beginning with his first showing as a juvenile, he has wowed the judges! Looking to add quality & sought-after genetics to your herd? Look no further-Trueno may be your ticket! His crias are nothing short of "WOW"! We're impressed by the ability he has to improve on the dams we have bred him to, including a standout true black from a white dam! Add 3 rose grey offspring, and stunning fawns and mahogany browns, and this boy is the bomb in quality colored offspring! If these are colors/qualities you're breeding for & you're looking to add density, staple length or crimp to your herd, look no further. Trueno's your man!!
Black Medallion, Trueno's first cria to show, placed 1st at the Alpaca Futurity in Louisville, KY! Up against some pretty stiff competition, the judge was impressed by his brightness, density & crimp/bundling that extends well into his belly area. Medallion's show winnings include three 1st place ribbons and a Color champion - all in classes of more than 12 animals and one of the youngest in all classes. Can't wait to see what HE produces in his first group of cria in 2013.
This is what Trueno is producing & we can't be more pleased with the results we've obtained from all of his offspring so far.

Amazing True Black Herdsire that has it all.... FINENESS! DENSITY! BUNDLING CRIMP! and EXCELLENT CONFIRMATION.
During the 2009 show season, the Judges commented on Black Medallion being "the new generation of black fleece".
Black Medallion has retained the fineness, crimp and density that made him a Color Champion and Blue Ribbon winner.
You need to see this male for yourself to appreciate how truely spectucular he is.
His first crias have arrived in a variety of different colors (dark brown, fawn, true black, bay black).
